Well - it's been a long and brutal struggle. I changed my contract on
9/19 (or so I thought) to Nation 1250 FamilyTalk w/Rollover for $79.99
with $9.99 for a second line. Unfortunately the clerk at the store
didn't really change my plan and I found out yesterday that I was
still on my old plans with the two phones.
After multiple phone calls I believe that I finally got my plan
changed correctly tonight. However, when I look at the web site it
shows _each of my phone (numbers) on a $79.99 plan. I expected to
have the primary phone displayed as $79.99 with the second displayed
as a "additional" $9.99. I called Cingular (yet again) and was assured
that my one phone is on the $79.99 and the other phone is $9.99.
For those of you with the FamilyTalk plans, how are multiple phones
displayed when "My Account" is accessed via the web site?
My apologies for the long post - I don't want to find out that I need
another struggle when I get my next bill. Thanks!

The primary line shows the family plan and then each additional line shows
up as a secondary line at $9.99. Sounds like your account is still screwed
up.

Re: Nation FamilyTalk web question
I'm on the GAIT plan at $45 plus $19.99 for the extra line. They seem to
have changed the way the web page shows the plans recently, and now both
my phones show up as a $45 GAIT plan each, with none showing as being
$19.99, but at least the bills are still correct.

I think Cingular is having major billing problems -- on the web site anyway -- they seemed to chang their system over the weekend -- improvement --
and now my plan shows extra phone at the main charge also --- I think I will wait and see what the bill look slike before I panic -- their billing dept much be the biggest major zoo in the world -- I have always had billing issues with Cingular for the pass six years ---
but -- while it is a painful experience -- for me -- they always fix them -- I guess you get use to it --
is it better with another carrier?Last edited by coveredup; 10-14-2004 at 08:17 PM.

Re: Nation FamilyTalk web question
I've called Cingular twice in the last two days to confirm whether my
plan is correct, and both times (with two different representatives) I
was told that my plan is as it should be. We'll see .......

I have the 850 minute for 59.99 plan, with a secondary phone @ 9.99. Both
show as being on the 59.99 plan on the website. They always have.
The bill I get is correct.
