I've recently (2 weeks ago) switched from ATTWS to Cingular. I have a
Motorola V400, and text messages that I send out take anywhere from 10 to 30
minutes to arrive on the recipients phone. Replies from them, or original
messages from them, appear on my phone instantly. Sometimes when I send a
message, after about 2 minutes, I receive an incoming message telling me
that my outgoing message is "Pending" ...

When I was on ATTWS TDMA, my outgoing texts arrives instantly. A 10 to
30 minute delay pretty much eliminates the usefulness of text messaging, so
any thoughts on what I can/should do about it would be helpful.

    TIA

    Probably temporary network congestion.

Taking a moment's reflection, John Navas mused:

That's my thinking as well, which is why I waited two weeks to start
investigating. I'm a bit concerned that it's still happening ... BTW, this
is *all* outgoing messages that are delayed, not just some of them.
