Hello,
I have just purchased a Motorola V551 and I own an iPAQ 4355.
I plan on pairing these devices via Bluetooth for occasional Internet
access via the iPAQ.
As I am new to Cingular, I have a question regarding data cost.
My plan includes Wireless Internet Express, but it is my understanding that
I will be charged by the KB
There is an addition that I can get called MEdia Works for $19.99 that gets
me unlimited Wireless Internet Express. Will this plan work with my paired
iPAQ, or will I have to get one of Cingular's data plans which are quite
costly.
Thank you for your time.

Media Works should do it.

Re: iPAQ Data Cost/Plan?
I have exactly the same comb - V551+4355, works perfectly with the $19.99
Media Work.
This comb also works great with my $30 T-mobile plan (V551 is unlocked, so I
can use my TMO SIM card).
I'm having a hard time to decide: does Cingular's EDGE speed worth the extra
$20? Cingular is theoretically faster, but more congested. I don't feel
drastic speed difference in real life between the two. I almost never
dropped a call with TMO, but I've got dropped calls with Cingular in the
first day of 30-day trial.

Re: iPAQ Data Cost/Plan?
I have the same setup just on a Nokia 6620 and I get online through it
via usb with my notebook pc. I think it is worth the $20 - in the areas
where EGPRS exists I find it to be much faster than T-Mobile's GPRS. I
get anywhere from 10-13kByte per second in the CNGLR EGPRS areas.
As opposed to my past T-Mobile GPRS experiences of 4-5 GPRS IF you've
got solid signal strength.
I would stick with just paying cnglr $20 per month for service which I
think is a smarter idea considering you're likely to hit more and more
EGPRS markets as time moves on with their implementation of EGPRS into
their current GPRS markets.
