I started a new Cingular account today, they say my billing cycle starts on
the 3rd and ends on the 2nd. When i check my available minutes online or via
611 it states that I have the whole 450 minutes available. I asked the
people at 611 if I get the whole 450 minutes and they say no its prorated.
Does anyone know for certain? Why would it say I get the whole bucket if its
prorated?

Because they don't program the recording to state the prorated minutes.
It's probably hard enough to program it to state the minutes based on your
individual contract. -Dave

Re: New account question
When I upgraded my account in October 2003 I received all of the minutes
when I upgraded although I was only a few days from the end of my billing
cycle. It was a quick way to get some roll over minutes.

Re: New account question
The policy may have changed, but rollover minutes do not accrue until
the first full billing cycle. It is my understanding (and was my
experience) that the partial, prorated billing cycle at the beginning
of an account does not accrue rollover minutes.
