Good morning all. I saw a message stating that ens was not working as it
should and simply allows the phone to be homed in on a primary network. I I
live in Madison NJ and when I had the 32 meg sim I was on t-mobile towers
which I could confirm by dialing a number to get that funky recording about
not completing a call. Also when I dialed 611 the system recognized my
number and would prompt me for a menu choice. When I switched to the 64 k
sim now I am using at&t towers and when I dial 611 I have to key in my
number all the time. I have tried this with a v400 and v551. Around here
the att towers do give me better coverage especially inside buildings so I
    am glad for the switch.

Yes I was because I baught it through a dealer that was not a corperit
store. I really didn't mind paying for the card. Hey! it did the job and my
coverage is much better so it's a small price for me to pay. I travel allot
and although t-mobile has a good network it seems like the at&t side has
better building penetration. I have seen this with two places I work.

Note that this could be due to the physics of the electromagnetic
spectrum, and not any characteristics of tower placement or tower
    density.

850 MHz will penetrate better than 1900 MHz.

Some posters have said they got it free at a Cingular store.
