I just received my Cingular V551 today and am trying to use the
internet with a PocketPC. I have the $24.99 unlimited MediaNet. The
question, how do I get it to work? I have paired the phone and the
pocket pc but how do I get the internet to work? I have one screen
that asks for a user name and password as well as a phone # to dial
but I have no clue what to put in and can't get a connection.

The way that the blue tooth works with a PDA. Ok the bluetooth basicly lets
your cellphone act as a dial up modem. You will not be able to access the
internet you have threw cingular threw your PDA. What you can do is use like
a aol, or somekind of a dial-up account to access the internet on your PDA.
If you want to use cingulars internet on your PDA you would need to get a
TREO wich is a pda-cellphone. Basicly it is a pda made by PALMone and a
cingular phone.

First, dude, you really need to pay more attention in English class...
Second, your information is completely incorrect. You can attach a Bluetooth
phone to a PDA, such as a PPC or a Palm, and using a Cingular data account
access the Internet.
Here is the password information you need
GPRS Username [email protected]
GPRS Password CINGULAR1
(all caps in both instances)
The phone number you need to use is *99#
I don't know how to configure the PPC so someone else will have to give you
the specifics on that. Try this site/document for more information on the
settings for Cingular accounts.

this site for more details on how to setup the PDA to use a Bluetooth
enabled phone to access the Internet.
