So far as an ATT WS customer, my experiences with Cingular are
wonderful in many ways. Their coverage and products are great. The
stores and booths are well stocked. Their customer service is as goo as
any anywhere and the CSRs actually speak English and not Indlish. Now
for the bad- their reps seem to have limited company and product
knowledge. For example, if you go to their booth in Arbor Place Mall as
I did and ask a question, you will get one answer. If you go to the
booth in Kroger, you will get another answer and if you go to a store,
yet another answer. Cingular needs to educate its employees as to its
services and policies so you get the same answer to the same question
no matter who you ask. But this is my only complaint thus far.

those mall kiosk employees are not typically cingular employees, thus
the problem. although i can't guarentee you'll find an employee with
much better skills at a cingular owned store.

Actually it depends on the Kiosk location. At the Everett Mall in Washington
the kiosk is the Cingular store in this area. There are other store fronts
in the area that have Cingular signs on them but they are not corporate
owned stores. But your point is correct, a store front or a kiosk is no
guarantee of a Cingular owned location and therefore the quality of employee
    training is inconsistent.
