I just got a Treo 650 last weekend and have been disappointed with the data
speed I've been seeing. It looks more like GPRS than EDGE. Using the
http://dslreports.com/mspeed test, I consistently get data rates in the
30-50 kbps range. Occasionally I get 100+, but it's rare. It makes no
difference where or when I try - indoors or out, day or night. It makes no
difference how many signal bars I have (it's usually 4). I almost always get
disappointing numbers.

Is anyone else consistently getting data speeds of 100kbps or more with
their Treo 650 around Santa Clara, CA? According to Cingular, we are
supposedly within the EDGE coverage area.
