After losing my entire contact list twice taking the battery cover off my
1400, is there any other way to retain the information without having to
copy to the sim card? It seems if you don't copy to sim the phone has no
backup capacitor or anything just to keep contact info for a couple of
minutes. Backing to sim duplicates the entries in the directory making for
messy contact list as it shows you both phone and sim card entries, and
also the sim card doesn't hold the info in the categories like the phone
does.
Am I possibly missing a bit of info that I should know about that will make
this work better? I hate it that if the phone malfunctions at all I'll
loose all my contact info.
Thanks!

You could use the software for the L1100 to save all your contacts to a
computer: http://uk.wowlg.com/uk/phones/h_allp...?ph_name=L1100
