Last week my Treo 650 crashed while receiving a text message. When the
phone powered back on I had the new text message indicator on my phones
home screen. I went to the messages on my phone and there where no
messages (where there had been 10-15). I checked by inbox, outbox,
saved and drafts...nothing!

I have been able to send and receive new messages and all appears to
work fine but the new message indicator will not go away. I went
through and deleted all of my messages...in, out, saved, etc. and the
indicator is still there.

I did a hard and soft recent on my phone and decided to contact
Cingular customer no service...there attempt to fix the problem did
nothing!

Has anyone encountered this problem or know how to fix it?
