Cingular wanted to charge me $20 or $30 for a replacement
SIM when I
lost my phone. I would't have had to pay that if I bought a
replacement phone from eBay with a
SIM.
I sold my Nextel i830 on eBay with the
SIM so the new owner would be
able to activate without a
SIM purchase. I didn't need the
SIM since
I discontinued service with them.
