LED won't stop on Blackberry 7100g

I just got the 7100g with no data plan for now (mainly just using it
for calendar and address book, and will add data plan later). But the
LED on the phone won't stop flashing. I have no messages, no
voicemails, and I have looked at every setting I can find. Anyone out
there have any ideas on how to get this thing to quit? It is so
annoying in a dark room to have this stinking LED flashing all night
long. And I can't shut the phone off when I am on-call.

Anyone have any bright ideas for darkening my LED?

Nevermind....just found out it's the Signal indicator. Got that taken
care of and turned it off. It's under
Settings:Options:Screen/Keyboard:LED Coverage Indicator
