Just got my 650 & it's been great. One problem though. For the 1st few
days when I hit the SEND button twice it would pop up with a list of
previously dialed calls and the call log as it was supposed to. Now it does
not do that. I hit it once and the dialing keyboard comes up as expected,
hit it again & the same keyboard comes up Any ideas? I did install an app.
(DateBK4) which after installation caused itself to start when hitting the
send key rather than the dialing pad come up. Pimlico (maker of the
program) suggested there were issues with the Treo & ver. 4 so I uninstalled
and since then there has been no call list when I hit the send twice. Help
    please.

    Thanks... Bob

    Re: Treo 650 Problem

I just installed DateBK5 that is supposed to work fine with the Treo but now
the DateBK program launches when I hit the "send" button instead of the
dialing pad coming up! Help Please

Just do a hard reset to wipe out all third party apps you installed. Press
the reset button then hold down the power button until the grey Palm logo
appears. Press the up button to erase all data. This will of course erase
your contacts and calendar, but you'll be back to the way it was out of the
    box.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to do that. Do you know of any app that will
show my contacts on the same line as their primary phone number as the
other Palms do? Showing all numbers takes up too much realestate.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Datebk5 (V-5.4a, s5).

If you upgrade using a version of DateBk5 prior to V-5.4, p5, you may find
that the Phone button gets "hijacked" by DateBk5 with no obvious way to
reset it. If this happens, download the P5 (or later) release (see
right-hand sidebar on DateBk5 web page:
    http://www.PimlicoSoftware.com/datebk5.htm) and run the applet
resetphonebutton.prc (in the AdvancedStuff.zip archive that is in the main
DateBk5....zip download) to re-assign the phone function to that button.

Thanks for the tip. I did have the latest version but needed the
resetphonebutton.prc anyway. All seems to be okay now.

Yeah, because once the button is assigned, it needs to be unassigned.
And since the Treo doesn't have an option to control the red and green
    buttons...
