I have decided to go the route of the Nokia 7270. I wanted to know
before I make my change...Hows the Cingular service going to be using a
phone without 850 in NY or any other metropolitan area for that matter.

You don't want to do that. A significant part of Cingular coverage is on
850. The Nokia 6270 might be more to your liking.

like absolute ****. I tried it with a Nokia 6610. You need to find either
a different phone or a different carrier.
