This phone doesn't give me enough time to answer it before it goes to
voice mail. Is there a way to increase the number of rings? I have
gone through the settings, but didn't see anything.
Thanks for any help.

Never mind. Found it on a cingular forum.
Find your VM system number with *#67# [send]
Delay before answer: *61*(VM system number)**30# [send]
where the 30 before the pound sign at the end is the delay before going
to voice mail.
You can experiement with different settings, say 10 seconds and then 30,
to confirm that the changes work.

Re: Motorola V400 Ring Time
Call 611. They will take care of it for you.
At least my Cingular here in H-town did that for me.

Re: Motorola V400 Ring Time
You can also enter a hash code to extend the ring time. Check out
http://www.cellular.co.za/gsm_hash_code.htm for a list of them. There are
probably other sites with this information, but this was the first one
Google found.
