Thought I would pass this along as I just found out from Cingular's
customer service last night about this department.

According to what I was told, these people have the power to alter
your account / monthly plan allot more than what a customer service rep
does. I did have to wait on hold and than talked to a woman and told
her what my minutes were with Nextel and the TOTAL fee, she said that
this can be done with cingular, and that someone would call me today,
to confirm this and that I would have 10 working days to switch back
and gave me 50 dollars credit on both lines.

I asked why the reps in the store dont know about this, and she said
they are there to sell phones and pass out brochures and thats it.

So I wait and see if I get a call.

I got a call from Cingular last night but was out and didnt get the
    message till later.
    >From my understanding just call the 800 number or 611 from your phone

and ask for the dept, the customer service rep that told me about it
called my cell phone yesterday to see if I had reached them yet, that
was funny though, Cingular calling my nextel phone. But anyways.
Call in and ask for that dept. I believe its for the people who left
Cingular only but dont quote me on that.

Like I said before if my Nextel bill is lower than what Cingulars is
and the PTT is what is keeping us happy and thats the main feature for
having the phones/service why leave? Coverage would be the only thing.

Cingular and Nextel are running ad's on the radio and tv in my area
    like mad.

You get them by calling and telling the rep you want to cancel. Then you
    get a loyalty rep
