    Hi,

    just got a brand new Moto V635 phone on Ebay and currently using it on ATTwireless/Cingular network. Everything is working fine so far (calls, text message, voicemail) except downloading MMS with pictures.

    I call the Cingular support and they told me to do the following

    Menu=> Web Acces=> Web sessions> ATT Wireless

    Problem is can't find the ATT setup in there which makes sense since the phone was not programmed by Cingular.

    Does anyone has instruction that could help me set-up this phone properly so I can access MMS services?

    Thanks a bunch

    Doing a google search with "v635 mms cingular setting" will get you a
    long result of people with the same problem.
    Here is just one of the answers.

    1. Press the Menu Key.
    2. Scroll to and select Web Access.
    3. Scroll to and select Web Sessions.
    4. Highlight "MMS" and press the Menu Key(create a new one named
    "MMS").
    5. Scroll to and select Edit.
    6. Enter the following:

    * Name: MMS (can't be changed if updating an existing web session)
    * Homepage: http://mmsc.cingular.com

    * Line Type 2: ISDN
    * GPRS APN: wap.cingular

    7. Press the left soft key 3 times to return to the main menu.
    8. Scroll to and select Messages.
    9. Press Menu.
    10. Scroll to and select Inbox Setup.
    11. Scroll to and select "MMS Message Setup", then press Change.
    12. Scroll to and select Server Info.
    13. Scroll to "MMS", then press Menu.
    14. Scroll to and select Edit.
    15. Validate the following settings (These are the settings that I was
    overlooking when MMS was not working on my phone) :

    * Service Name: MMS
    * Server Name: http://mmsc.cingular.com
    * Web Session Name: MMS (or web session you editted with above
    settings)

    Re: MMS setup Cingular

    You will need to go into the phone menu under the message settings and
    change the MMS Server settings as well.

    Check out this link on Cingular's website and it should walk you right
    through on setting up for ATT mMode or Cingular MEdia net as well as
    the MMS settings depending if you have a Blue SIM or Orange SIM.

    Sorry,

    I just check for the v635 settings on that site I posted and it doesn't
    give any info on setting up the browser or MMS. Choose the Moto V551
    phone when setting up.

    Thank you

    Thanks WirelessJuan. With the Cingular link I was able to setup my MMS mailbox properly. As an ex-ATT customer the setup is slightly different than the one described above. Things finaly working fine now.

    Thanks to all
