    Hello,
I found the instructions on how to extend the ring time for a call to go to
voicemail. It says to enter my voicemail # (not my cell phone #). It said
to find my voicemail # to do a query, but it doesn't say how to do a query.
How do I do a query on a black V3 Razr?
    TIA

Thanks but that is the site that told me how to change the ring duration and
to do a query to find my VM # but again, it doesn't say how to *DO* a query!
Does anyone here know how to do a query on the Razr V3?
    Thanks again in advance.

Press & hold the one (1), it will go to voice mail, which will show you the
    number.

I just checked, and it does tell how to do a query. Using that information,
I was able to check then change my duration.

    Perhaps it was recently updated.

Maybe you would care to elaborate.

It certainly works on my phone, and everyone else's phone.

Hmmmmm strange, I just went there and I still don't see where it tells you
how to do a "Query" ... I might be slow though, but in any event, that is
what this newsgroup is for right? helping?
Thanks again to Moises for his help.

    Try here:
    http://web.telia.com/~u47904776/gsmkode.htm

You can set the delay up to 30 seconds before it will go to diversion
    (forward, voice mail, etc).

You would probably want to do **61**30# SEND to change to 30 seconds.

*#61# will show you the current voice mail number (where your calls go
if you don't answer). This varies, and you should not it before
messing around too much with the settings.

Also remember to enter your number as 1xxxyyyzzzz which is the
"international" represenation of a North American number, or if you
enter a number in the gsm codes.

    Set: **61*destination*11*nn#[SEND]
    Cancel: ##61*11#[SEND]
    Query: *#61*11#[SEND]

All give me a "Call Failed" then "Not Available" message. What am I
    missing here?

Uhm.. you're on a TDMA Cingular phone - one without a SIM module?

Those codes only work on GSM phones.

    or <http://tinyurl.com/85ofh>

    Query is the 3rd command.

This info has been in the section since it was created.
