    You *are* charged "Internet time" (data) if you use a WAP browser to check.
    You are *not* changed if you use *services -- see the FAQ below for more info.

    Oops, typo, thanks for the correction.

    For anyone that's interested, 800 is actually another name for 850, or
    actually vice versa, I believe. Sometimes it's referred to as 800, other
    times as 850.

    Correct. "800" is normally used with D-AMPS ("TDMA"). "850" was adopted for
    GSM, even though it's the same band, in order to minimize confusion between
    GSM and D-AMPS.
