Is the Nokia 5165 (TDMA 800/1900) still usable on Cingular? I have 3 or 4
of them, used, and am wondering about their resale value.
Can an unactivated Nokia 5165 still call 911? If so, maybe we'll keep them
in the cars for emergencies.

Re: Nokia 5165 usability
You cannot use it for a new account. It will call 911 however.

They would have more value as a charity donation write off to a
neighborhood watch group or something like that.
Plus you'll feel good about it. Disclaimer: That is only an opinion, I
do not have any credible and verifiable evidence to back the up.
