    Of course it is. That doesn't have anything to do with the discussion though.
    They will find voicestream only through osmosis and be confused about whether
    posting there is correct. There will be no such confusion with a t-mobile
    group ... Google Groups or not. So, what was your justification for
    alt.cellular.cingular? It seems to me that alt.cellular would have been
    sufficient

    Even if you are not a T-Mobile user,
    try and get your ISP or news server to add the "T-Mobile" group -
    It helps us all to have a familar name to the various carrier news
    groups.

    If you want to succeed, you'll probably need to do a lot more than that, like
    persuading major news services to carry it. That's what I did with
    alt.cellular.cingular

    BTW, it's rude to keep posting more limited follow-ups than the newsgroups
    you're posting to. If you don't want the other newsgroups to be involved,
    then don't post to them. [cross-posting restored, again]
