2 phones/same number

Is it possible to have two phone (with separate SIMS) working on the same number--i.e. one phone for leaving at home, one for the road?

Just wondering!

It might be theoretically possible through SIM duplication. But I doubt that
it is actually practical.

Wouldn't call forwarding be a better solution?
