I'm also unable to receive SMS messages -- Starting at the end of
december.
I plugged my SIM into another phone and all the messages came streaming
in.

I hard reset my phone without my SIM in it ... and restarted the
phone... put my SIM back in... still nothing.

Cingular's support is closed on Sundays... so I'll call them tomorrow.
