8125/8525 custom alert tones

I have seen this somewhere before and now cannot find it. on the 8125
and 8525 you can load your own .mp3 or .wav file as a ringtone, but not
as a tone for new emails/mms/sms messages.

Can someone point me in the direction of what you have to do to
accomplish this?

NEVERMIND -- I just answered my own question. save it as a .wav file
in the windows directory of the device.

I thought there was something more you had to do like a system file
modification or something, but i guess not.
