Samsung SGH-c417 SimCard Question

I had two of these phones and returned one a few days after getting it
because it randomly asked to insert a SimCard. Now just recently the other
one which is a little over one month old is starting to do the same thing.
Anyone else out there had the same problem?

My husband and I got 2 of the phones about 2 weeks ago and a few days after
I got it, I got that message.
I "googled" it and found SEVERAL complaints. One site was here:

you can google "insert SIM card+samsung and find all kinds of sites.

I took mine back 2 days ago and got the LG CU500 and am really enjoying it.
My husband now wants to take his back, too.
