Been using Opera Mini on my Cingular Treo 650 since early last year.
Never had a problem with it Maybe it's time to take it off your phone
    and try a fresh install.

Will give it another go and see what happens.

They have a version for it.
Could you try it again, from mini.opera.com?
    Post your results.

I am using opera mini on a Tmobil RAZR. It works, but as you can
    imagine very slow.

Installed OK but crashes going to any URL (brief message saying ending
    user agreement)
Though the installation process has been greatly improved since last
time I installed it, I'll wait until they get the bugs out.
Blazer still is the most bulletproof.

Yep! Cingular is now unlocking, just like tmobile, after 90 days of
service in good standing. I joined cingular Jan 3 and have requested
the unlock codes for my RAZR and L7, and received the codes in about 5
    days.

An additional requirement is that international roaming be active on
the account (don't know why). So, get the "no-fee" international
roaming added first, then request the code. This is discussed
    extensively in howardforums

The 90 days is only for new service (and is often waived for good
cause). For existing service (phone upgrade), no such delay is needed.

International Roaming is not required for an unlock code. I just got
one for a V551, and I don't currently have International Roaming on my
    account.
