Blocking unwanted calls.

Hi:

Can't figure out how to block a number on my LG2000 phone. Supposedly I
can create a "group" with that number as one of the members, and then
assign a "silent" ringtone. The problem is, there is no silent
ringtone. Has it been deleted? Can I create it? Are there better
options for blocking a specific number so that they're not rolled over
to voice mail?

That's not blocking a number, that's just hiding behind a ring tone
you'll never hear. Better to ask them not to call you. When they don't
heed that advice, invite them out for a pleasant dinner, and when you're
seated comfortably, reach across the table, grab their cell phone, and
dunk it in a hot cup of coffee, and then get up and leave. Calls
blocked. Works wonderfully.
