That's no trick. Apple buys ADVERTISING, lots of it. Broadcasters aren't
so stupid as to jeopardize advertising revenues from ANY advertiser with
negative reports on the advertisers' products. The only time you'll ever
hear some car sucks on TV is when there's a forced recall from the
government, making reporting it an FCC requirement "for the public good",
as it says in their FCC license.

If half of the iphones failed to boot, you'd never hear about it on
American TV or radio as long as the company is buying advertising....

America seems fed up with this BS. Clear Channel is being sold off in
pieces because advertisers finally realized noone was listening to the CC
drivel stations.

I got a ratings agency call a while back. "What's your favorite radio
station?", she wanted to know.

I listen to the local PBS station. I like the talk subjects they
broadcast because I like going to bed smarter than when I woke up.

It is interesting that those stores are out of iPhones. It is a big
seller but given past Apple history what one might expect when
inventory runs down like that is an updated version. A new iPhone
version now would be earlier than predicted though. Hmm.

Sales are slow amd inventories are high right now because the 3G iPhone
is coming in a couple of months. See
