Hey Mark, Thank you for your reply...

Too late for Cingular, their service wasn't very good in NH when it did
work, I canceled them and now have Nextel. Check out nextel.com for more
    info on rates, features, etc.

So far Nextel is very good. Great signal in S. NH, and the Motorola phones
provided are much better than the Ericcson junk provided by Cingular. I
ordered my phone on Nextel.com at 4:15pm and the phone arrived the next
morning. I was making calls before lunch!!!!

Nextel's nation wide, no roam with long distance included at a guaranteed
rate not to exceed $0.40/minute (after your package minutes are used) nation
wide along with shared minutes between phones beat out Verizon, which was
the other service I was considering for their excellent coverage in my area.
The Bonus is Nextel's Direct connect feature which provides local direct
connection in your home area for $0.10/minute (after your package minutes
are used) and charged by the seconds used, and only charged to the
originating phone, not both ends. You also get FREE incoming text
messages. compared to $0.10 cingular charges.

    Compared to Cingular...
    1. Nextel works in NH, and provides much better sound quality.
    2. Shared minutes between phones
    3. Both provide nation wide, long distance, no roaming for several hundred
minutes, $0.40 after minutes are used.
    4. Low cost, direct connect use between Nextel users, good across new
England (Nation wide for added fee).
    5. FREE incoming text messages
    6. Nextel's Motorola equipment is much better than Cingular's Ericcson -- in
both cases I got the lowest cost, buy one get one free, equipment available.
    7. For two phones, both plans are about $60 to $65 per month, assuming that
you don't go over allotted minutes allowed
-- 300 shared on Nextel, 250 each phone on Cingular. plus large
    Night/weekend pool.

To be fair to Cingular, after several calls and asking to speak to a
"Customer Care Supervisor" and spending about 30 minutes on the phone with
him (mostly on hold), did agree to reduce my early termination fee by 50%
due to the week long (and running) service interruption in NH.

Gave you the sleeves off his vest. Under those circumstances, there shouldn't
    be any fee.
