Hello all,
We are thinking of switching to Cingular from another carrier. Any
opinions on the coverage, service, and phone to buy for this area? I
don't need web or email access just a good phone to talk on.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Kansas City, MO. opinions?
Nokia 6340i is great for voice and signal reception for now and a few
years into the future and currently is $0.00 on the website for a two
year contract. When I was there, no problems with this phone. If you
understand, it picks up 800/1900 TDMA, 850/1900 GSM(the near future for
Cingular) and AMPS(analog).

I had a Nokia 6340i on Cingular up until last month. The coverage area is
pretty good. I found that I went to TMobile's service a lot, which wasn't a
problem for my plan, but could be I think if you only had a home plan.
