I am nearing the end of my current contract and will be upgrading my
    phone soon. Currently I am using a Nokia 3360 on a TDMA/Preferred
Nation plan (home is Alabama), but am intrigued by the "cool factor"
of the flip feature of the Motorola V60i.

I am a little concerned with the durability of the hinge mechanism of
the V60i as well as the external antenna.

Also, I would be interested to hear from anyone who can comment on
direct comparison of both phones in weak to marginal signal areas. I
often travel in some rural areas that are not as well covered by
towers as major population centers. For this reason, all other
concerns aside, I would have to give preference to whichever phone is
able to provide the best performance in these areas.

    Thanks for any helpful thoughts,
    Rod

I had the Motorola and now have the 3560. The 3560 has better
reception and the V60i was starting to come apart.

No data sync with the 3560 without a tough hack.

I had a V60 with AT&T for only four months before the antenna broke.
Throughout that four months the service was horrible (could not get a
signal or only a weak signal- and it wasn't just AT&T!) It does look
cool, but it's functionality leaves little to be desired.
