Does Cingular support CSD. I want to be able to use my bluetooth enabled
phone as a modem with my bluetooth enabled laptop by dialing my isp
directly. I've been told I have to use a provider that supports CSD. My
neighbor uses Cingular and he says everytime he dials his isp and hears the
connection he gets dropped immediately. He seems to think that Cingular
    won't allow a dialup connection.

    See More: CSD??

You have have Cingular enable CSD, it costs extra. Any ISP should work with
    it.

    CSD is SLOW
Cost about $4 a month and uses airtime.
Avaiable where ever TDMA service is.

GPRS is packet and 4x as fast. Cost is per MB Starting $6
