Just upgraded to the 6340i and I am trying to get the internet to work with
    the DLR-3 connecting cord.

I have connectivity with the phone and the PC, but I cannot establish a
connection to my ISP with the phone.

I do have internet on the phone (WAP), and I have utilized this account in
the past to access the internet with my 3360 and an IR laptop.

Nokia indicated that the drivers in their data base were not compatible with
GSM systems. I would need to obtain a driver from Cingular. Unfortunately,
the tech people were away today.

Has anyone had experience with the 6340i on a GSM system, and could anyone
    send me a compatible driver?

    Re: 6340i on Internet

If you learn anything, please post it to the newsgroup. I am unable to
get mine to work, first because I am trying to use USB adapter, since I
don't have a serial port. Cingular support staff told me it was all up
to Nokai. Nokia will not certify GSM operations. So there we are.

    Re: 6340i on Internet

Someone posted a "fix" on the alt.cellular.nokia newsgroup.
Apparently, from what I read, this person modified their driver. A
"string" was removed and it worked ok for them. Search for "6340" on
that newsgroup and you should pull up their post...
