Trading Amps

I have an opportunity to trade my Yamaha T50C (Soldano design) for a Fender
Hot Rod Deville, 2x12 60W. Do you think it's a good trade? Is the Fender a
good amp? I play in a cover band doing modern rock, no metal. Will this
have enough distortion to get job done and does this thing have a nice tone?
