I'm not sure I fully know, but there was something similar in the tmobile
newsgroup earlier. I believe
WAP push messages, among other things, are one
way that the service carrier sends your phone programming data. They might be
changing certain things, such a roaming information, and in so doing send you
a
WAP message. I'm not sure that this is the case, but if so, it would
explain the
WAP push message.
To read it, choose your 'Messaging' menu, then select
WAP Push, then Inbox.
My bet is reading it will get rid of the icon.
That's my best guess. Someone more knowledgable will hopefully correct me
where I've erred.
