I know this is the nokia NG but I am getting a data cable for my sons
siemens A55 phone and was wondering if some one could tell me what software
do I use or point me in the right direction please. I use logomanager for
my nokia now but I don't think that works with siemens A55. Thank you
cheers Dave

awkward by answering with this is the erricsson group blah blah blah. I only
put it in three NGs four you satisfaction ok

Re: What Software?
whoa hang on a minute whose crossposting and where am I being pushy I asked
nicely and then got a pathetic answer all I want to know is simple thing,
why cant people just answer the question with a normal answer instead of the
bull, see no wonder the newsgroups are going no where with people answering
a simple question with crossposting and this and that. why not just be
normal and say sorry Dave not sure about this one or have people nothing
better to do than correct people on a simple mistake that we have all made
in the past probably. What are we all perfect then, NO where not a simple
mistakes been made just say sorry Dave you posted in the wrong NG but here's
the answer anyway

Assuming you mean "who's", that'd be yours by posting your message to
multiple groups.
>and where am I being pushy
Ok, is stroppy more accurate?

But the point is, you DID crosspost, in OT newsgroups, then spat the dummy
when this was pointed out to you, and to make it worse, you top-posted your
little rant!

Because, in the past, they were told the error of their ways and learnt from
it. There are such useful items as search engines these days you know.

Oh do go away, and if you'd like some vinegar to go with that large chip you
appear to be carting around, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to
supply it for you.

Because of a set of (rather informal) rules called "netiquette".
You'll find a quite good (satiric) version of it here:

Re: What Software?
sorry guys I don't ask you to reply to my messages for help on here that's
entirely up to you obviously you have nothing better to do than to criticize
people who make mistakes or not sure of the rules, you need to get out a
little more and get a life if all your life consist of is correcting people
for general mistakes, you know where not all perfect including yourselves.
As for those who did answer my original question thank you
Dave

Replying to somebody you plonked? Hmm.... Why bother saying plonk (as if
anybody cares about which posts you read) and then not even bother to plonk
them?
