    protocol = pop3
    inc server = pop.ntlworld.com
    incoming port 110
    mailbox = your ntl username
    password = your ntl password
    outgoing server ( your mobile provider server) ie smtp.orange.net
    email address = your return address ie joe [email protected]
    from name = your name ie joe bloggs

    on a similar note - can anyone tell me how the charges work relating to
    email? It just connects to a wap service to collect them, right? So your
    paying for time connected, not per email?

    Cheers!

    It depends on which country and what net you´re on.

    Some charge per kB and some charge for kB AND time connected.

    hotmail is possible with an extra piece of software, e-mail viewer. I
    d/loaded it from a website, unfortunately cannot remember the name!! But it
    allows access to hotmail. Also, same company makes an HTML web viewer. Just
    looked at the info of the program,t he company is Reqwireless.

    o2 charge by the kb, but not the first 500kb on wap (but do on email,
    don't know why). my tip is if you have time use wap and go to
    www.mail2wap.com to check your email, first 500kb of useage on your
    monthly o2 account will be free ;-)

    Why do you need that?

    Fire up your WAP browser, and point it to
    http://mobile.msn.com/wml/menu.aspx

    Voila, the MSN Mobile main menu, with hotmail as the first link.
