hi guys, just got my new P900 few days ago and i've found that you can no
long unlock the keypad by press OK and *. instead you have to use the
jog-dial... i'm not used to press jog-dial as its pretty hard to press
    compared with the keyboard.

one other problem is that when you open up music player all you get in the
list are mp3 files. files in other format won't show in there and if try to
change the folder with other format the folders are blanked out as well.
even if ALL is selected, nothing will show except mp3s. . i have to goto
Manage List in order to play files such as midi or other format.

can someone please confirm the above two problems are the norm? or is it
    just me..

    thanks

OK and * works on mine. I didn't even know you could unlock it with the
jog-dial, but having tried it I find it's easier than OK and *. Maybe you
just need time to get used to using the jog-dial.

did you have you physical keypad attached or are you using the virtual
    keypad?

OK and * works on my phone. Strange.

This is the same as on my p900. I don't understand why it should be this
way as the media player has no problem playing midi files.

    Hi,

I have removed the physical keypad and use the virtual keypad.

OK and * doesn't work on my P900 too for unlocking the keypad in that
configuration. Only the jog-dial does it.

For me it's no problem, because with the physical keypad removed I use
    the jog-dial a lot.

    Bye
    Axel

ok..... had a good read through the manual and the two issues i mentioned
are just the way it is.... the vitural keypad can only be unlocked using the
jogdial when vitural keypad is active... and in music player it only lists
mp3 files in the player mode... to play other file format you have to goto
"manage tracks" mode in order to play them.

weird but... oh wells.. at least the mp3 ringtone is enough for me to love
    this phone.
