I currently have the S46 - reception could be better in some areas.
I was given the option to trade in for a quite decent 850/1900 mHz
    phone...
reception with that phone is zero in my office... The S46 was very
slightly better on GSM - much better on TDMA (I gather there's no 850
    mHz GSM there yet).

Now - I could extend my contract by one year and get $30.

Or, I could get another phone deal.. I'm thinking, maybe the T62U
    which
would be the best of both worlds... Good reception now on TDMA and in
the future using BOTH 850/1900 bands....

So, I'm debating to go for the 850/1900 for free (and keep get the $30
as well).. but that's not so good 'now'... vs getting the T62U which
is 850/1900- good for the future, plus the TDMA/analog, good for
    now...

Opinions? I've been debating this too long... If I would know how
quickly the new 850 mHz transceivers were going in.. it would help...

if you're reffering to ATTWS, my guess is a while, between this merger, and
their already advanced network for this time. im mainly saying it b/c of
    the merger though
