Hi,
I've also got a Z600, but I have it since almost a year, but until now I
had no problems. Recently the Z600 started to make some strange things,
like yours, it switched itself off while I wanted to recieve a call - it
actually crashed, so I think I will send it to Sony - I still have
warranty I think.
You should also try to contact SE ..
Cheers,
C.L.

With some luck you'll get a free replacement. But backup all your data - it
will be a brand new phone without SIM-lock or Provider-branding.
As I said, with some luck...

A hard reset may help. With the phone turned ON, remove the battery. Wait
several seconds. Reinstall the battery. Turn the phone back on, and it will
complete a hard reset.
