I have a new phone, the T610 from Sony Ericsson, using tmobile as my
provider.

I'd like to make my tungsten t3 talk to the phone over bluetooth, for things
like transferring photos or updating the phone book. also for things like
email or wireless internet. If I go that route, do I make a phone call on
the mobile phone to my ISP's modem pool? Or am I better off using some sort
of dedicated data service? I think AT&T called it GPRS, not sure if it's the
same thing at tmobile.

Same story with my laptop. I have a usb dongle for bluetooth, the D-Link
DBT-120. Would like to be able to do the same sort of things, talking to the
phone and to the palm, and using the phone via bluetooth to get internet
access on the laptop.

I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has been through this
already, or who is going through it currently.

My laptop runs XP by the way.

thanks one and all.

Ed
