Yes, your operator or service provider.
Otherwise you'll need booth hardware and software.

No, the only way to unlock the phone is using a Torx 6 screwdriver. Sorry to
tell you.
I am not sure if there is any phone on the market that support unlocking by
using some sort of a code. For what reason should this be useful??

All SIM-locked phone can be opened with a code.

The code is the key in the locking and unlocking process.

Re: Unlocking a T610
Thanks for the info, have already tried Orange, but as I no longer have an
Orange SIM card, they advised that cannot be done remotely.

I opend several phones - none has had some mechanical parts inside which
open the phone automatically.
You can unlock the service-provider-lock. But that is something else. The
SPL is some sort of software lock - but this has nothing to do with the
hardware of the phone the OP was talking about ;-)

I don't understand anything???
It´s NOT about opening the phone!!!
What mechanical parts?
What should open the phone automatically?

He asked about a code for unlocking the phone! What do you mean is
something else????
Who is OP?
Are you sure you understood the original question?????

Eh? Don't talk rubbish. Cheapest way to do it yourself is with a
Terminator dongle & DIV (providing firmware is lower than R6).
Alternatively, pay someone to do it for you.

All phones can be unlocked by code, but the easiest are Nokias (there's an
unlock code calculator at the UselessInfo site in my sig).
> For what reason should this be useful??
So you can use a SIM card from a different service provider.

Gern geschehen.
