how do get downloaded games into my S700i ?

I've got some games in .jar format which I have downloaded to disk.
But I can't see anyway of directly transferring them to my fone. (No
folder shows up for games, I tried sticking them in the 'other'
folder, no good.

So then I think I need to wap them down, so I stick em up on my
webspace and wap to them. The fone says format not supported, and
saying yes anyway gets it saved on the stick in 'other'.

So, back to the site I got them from, try the wap link for one of them
and it works.
Huh.

What gives?

I could really use being able to do it direct, or on my webspace as
the url is much shorter, and saves me searching again.
I can use php etc on my space if that's required (I notice the wap
link had php in it..)
