SonyEricsson S700i firmware upgrade

Hi,

can I upgrade my phone's fw at home ?!?

I think you can,
but you'll need the docking cradle.

Since the S700i is relatively new,
I'd suggest to just go to a provider shop
or SE servce Center and let it upgrade for free.

provided by Orange. Will the telco the upgrade for free?

I upgraded my new phone (K700i) at a 'normal' mobile phone shop,
which carries several providers, like Vodafone, T-Mobile, etc...

Fortunately they are SE Service Center, too.

I found out the address with Google.

Have you managed to get an S700i to use the P910i docking cradle as mine
doesnt want to like it much!

where do you get the firmware software from for the S700? its not on the web
site? also how do you tell what version you have already?
