Hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong:
I'm trying to access my gmail from my SonyEricsson P900. I have enabled
pop already in my gmail account.
On my P900, I have created a new 'email account', called
<username>@gmail.com. Set to preferred.
Account name, email address.
Connection type: pop3
Internet account: Preferred account
Inbox: <username>
Password:
Incoming server address: pop.gmail.com
Outbox: server address: smtp.gmail.com
Use SMTP authentication: ON
Use inbox login details: ON
username
password
Advanced:
Secure connection: ON
Outgoing mail port: 4587
Use MIME encoding: OFF
Incoming mail port: 995
Secure authentication: OFF
It works ok first: estblishes connection via GPRS account, then sending
emails works fine too. However it does not retreive emails, would you
have any idea where I go wrong?
Thanks,
jaz
