    Did you search de.comp.sys.mac.misc?

I have used iSync 2.1 successfully with Tiger and K750i.

If OSX 10.3.9 can use iSync 2.1 then you should be OK, otherwise you will
    have to upgrade to Tiger.

I've had it working, sort of. Lots of problems with Address Book entries
not getting transferred to the phone though, and now iCal refuses to
sync at all. I'll have to upgrade to 10.4.x for iSync 2.1 or whatever
    the latest version is.

    I am using an iMac G5 10.3.9
I got my Addressbook and iCal to sync but for Addressbook:
    - It generated an error message about "can't get modified records on
fast sync: an unknown error occurred (18)"]
    - I did get people's names and contact numbers over to the phone, but
company name got truncated, and addresses/postalcodes did not come
    over at all.
    - iCal "seems" to have synced properly, though I'm still treating this
    cautiously.

There was an issue of charging the phone with the USB cable (hangs the
Mac) - does this happen only in Tiger? Because the tool I downloaded
to overcome this problem only works for Tiger. I'm not keen to go to
    Tiger yet.

    Any comments or help tips?

my laptop on 10.3.9 wouldn't recognise 750i in iSync so upgraded to
Tiger, THEN had to upgrade iSync again to v2.1 to get it to recognise.
However disaster when trying to sync iCal. Will only sync up to max of 8
weeks (no override in iSync settings) and though I got what was on
laptop on to phone for those 8 weeks it *removed* from the calendar on
the 750i all other entries outside the 8 weeks. Great :-( So then had to
spend ages with my *other* diary, re-entering all the appointments I had
entered into phone up to March next year. Needless to say I won't be
bothering to syn again - easier to input appointments by hand! Not
    really worth upgrading to Tiger.
