    Hi guys

I have just spent the last 2 days on this and to say its getting me wound up
    is an understatement

I have an MMS sat ready to download to my phone my phone tells me I have a
message but comms have failed try again

I have been over vodas website and sonys and tried to download the settings
4 or 5 times now and still it wont work.

Can anyone list the settings my K750i needs for me to download this message

Part of what I got the phone for was to send and receive picture and sound
files I got the phone from carphonewarehouse they were useless voda tell me
they dont support the phone so I asked them why is it branded with there
software if you dont support it and the guy could not answere that or why
have they locked settings if they dont support the phone again nothing.

I am at a complete loss here and at this rate will be binning it off as a
bad idea and going back to my Z600 I have tried copying the settings and
that hanst worked eaither any ideas anyone

All the best and thanks for your time

    Paul

It very much differs from net to net.

    In Africa: 3
    In Asia: 6
    In Oceanic: 3

    Hello.

Got a pay-monthly-Vodafone-branded K750i and it works fine.

    Is it a Vodafone-branded K750i or a network-free K750i?

Are you using a pay-monthly or pay-as-you-go Vodafone SIM card?

What error messages are displayed on the handset?

    Best wishes,

    Stephen.

    Hello.

Shame about the problems as my Voda UK-branded K750i works fine.

Check that the "Internet Profile" is set to "Contract WAP". This can be
found in "Settings" then right-scroll to the "Connectivity" tab then
    "Internet Settings".

Also check the MMS settings are set correctly by the following:

"Messaging" -> "Settings" -> "MMS" -> "Internet Profile" should be set to
"Contract MMS" and the "Mesage Server" should be set to
    http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms.

Also check the version of software in your K750i. This can be done via the
following key movements (ignore what appears on the screen as you press the
    keys):

    > * < < * < *

where > and < mean move the joystick right and left respectively. From the
"Service" menu that appears select "Service Info" then "Software Info". The
first line contain the software version. The latest version for Vodafone UK
is R1L002. If it is earlier (such as R1Jxxx) then use the enclosed cable to
connect the handset to a PC and perform a software update from the support
    section of www.sonyericsson.com/uk

    Best wishes,

    Stephen.
