browsing on w800i?

Hi,

Am on the verge of buying a new cell phone. upgrading from t610... my
mind and heart are almost set on the w800i, but then can someone tell
me if there is some HTML browsing capability on the phone? For example,
will I be able to check my gmail / yahoo mail?

t610 was very bad on that score as the site would have to be wap
enabled...

NOkia n70 s the other one i have been investigating...and it coems with
an office suite, so am sure browsing there won/t be a problem... but am
very taken up with the walkman feature of w800i... if I do take the
800i, will ditch the idea of buying ipod for a while//

Anyway, if some one can let me know on the browsing ability of the
w800i... also it does have video DJ right?

It has Video DJ (never used it though)

It comes with a basic browser, and will happily run the new Opera Mini
java version which works perfectly.
Yahoo and Gmail both work fine on my phone through Opera.

No, but it's a tiny download (something like 94kb) and free.

You could download it either via WAP/GPRS via the built in browser or
get it from the web on your PC and upload it to the phone using the
cable that the W800i comes with.

I'd recommend it as the first thing you get for the phone.

Then get "MyPhoneExplorer" which is free software for the PC for
connecting the phone to and managing contacts, messages etc..
