SMS gone ?

Hi,

Efter changing my T630 to a K750i all my SMS's is gone (with the same
SIM card)...

After putting the SIM card into the new one I found out that all my
SMS's is gone. Then I put the SIM card back in the old one I end up
with the same result..

Can anyone tell me where the SMS went ? Are they lost forever :-S ?

I assume you didn't actively choose to save your SMSs on your SIM
card...?

Yes, you probable didn't save them before you started your actions.

They are temporary stored in the PHONE memory, if you don't save them.
Then they are stored on your SIM card.

and, yes, they are gone.

Damn... I just thought that the sms were saved on the phone or sim
card regardless which sim card / phone are used.

SMS losing feature is one of the nastiest feature of sony ericsson
phones.

I don't know why it can't be saved ,like the address book.

I had the same problem with Nokia phones in the past, thankfully never
had that trouble with SE. I will try to avoid that pitfall.
