Phone is a SonyEricsson Z520a, and I have a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth on
my PC. The software for the DBT-120 allows me to do a whole lot of
things, including allowing network access (see the help section at the
end of the message). So I want to try and use this feature, but I am
not sure how to configure the Z520a so that it will route my internet
requests through the Bluetooth connection -- by default it goes via
Cingular network and since I don't have a plan, I get charged on a
pay-per-use basis. Can anyone guide me through the setup on the phone?

Thanks

Himanshu

This is from the D-Link DBT-120 help pages for Network Access:

Network Access Setup for Windows 2000 and Windows XP
From the Windows system tray, right-click the Bluetooth icon and select
Advanced Configuration from the shortcut menu.

In the Bluetooth configuration panel, select the Local Services tab,
Network Access and then click Properties....

From the Network Access, General properties page, in the Type of
service shortcut menu, select "Allow other devices to access the
Internet/LAN via this computer," and then click Configure Connection
Sharing.

Right-click Local Area Connection, select Properties and then select the
Sharing tab.

Select Enable Internet Connection Sharing for this connection, click OK,
and then click YES in the confirmation dialog box.
